However, these websites are frowned upon by most people, and its definately not recommended to use them.

In conclusion, the best way to increase your Alexa Rank is probably just to build natural traffic to your website. If you keep getting more and more visitors, the Alexa Rank should come with it. It still is a good idea to install the Alexa Toolbar though.
