How to make money from Arcades!

Arcades are very popular, normally among the teenage audience. They are getting more and more popular (Like Proxies) because there is a constant demand of them. Network Managers work hard to block teenagers from playing on game websites.

It is very easy to setup an Arcade site. There are many scripts you could use. AV Arcade seems to be the most popular. The only problem is getting the games for an arcade. It can take a long time to collect the games together or make your own, but you could buy Game Packs for certain scripts. These packs contain thousands of games but they will be very overused that everyone will have played before.

There are quite a few methods you could earn money from them. Some of them include:

Google Adsense - Probably the most popular method of making money from Arcades. The only problem with this is that most of your teenage audience will be visiting your website through a school, which quite often has Ad Blocks installed to stop ads from being displayed. This means that you’ll lose a lot of impressions because of this.
Affiliate Programs - This probably won’t be very successful because of the market but you may earn some from it. You should definately not rely on Affiliate Programs as revenue for it but some sorts of teenage advertisements may earn some, such as Myspace Advertisements.
Selling Direct Advertisements - Another main method used. There are a few places you could sell direct advertisements on - 468×90 banner ads can sell quite well near the tops of the pages, but there are other places you could sell also (If you know how to set them up). For example, you could sell advertisements on the starting up of each game. This is often purchased because a lot of people will see it. You could sell text links too, but beware of Google if you do so.
Membership - This might work for some arcades, might not for others. You could sell a membership status where members get access to exclusive games, but the games will need to be unique and of a high quality.
